OUR HISTORY

Grand Tours was born from a simple idea: that the best way to experience the world’s greatest sporting events is with people who are just as passionate about them as you are. Founded by two sports enthusiasts with a shared belief that travel and sport are better together, Grand Tours has grown from a small team arranging bespoke trips for friends into one of the UK’s leading specialist sports travel companies.
Today we plan and deliver experiences across tennis, rugby, cricket, golf and more — taking fans to the events they’ve always dreamed of attending, in the style they deserve. From Wimbledon to the British & Irish Lions, The Ashes to The Masters, every trip we arrange is built around the event, the sport and the fan.

Our team brings together specialists from across the worlds of sport, hospitality and luxury travel. What unites them isn’t a single sport — it’s a genuine passion for live sporting experiences and a determination to make every trip exceptional. Between them they’ve attended hundreds of the world’s greatest sporting events, which means the advice you get from Grand Tours is always first-hand.

Jay Chauhan
Director

Jay co-founded Grand Tours with Simon Mawdsley, drawing on over 20 years of experience in project management and a lifelong love of sport. Jay’s drive for quality and precision shapes everything the business does — from how packages are put together to how customers are looked after.

Away from work, he’s a keen pickle-ball player and cyclist.

Director

Simon spent over 15 years in financial services before turning his passion for sport and travel into a business. Since co-founding Grand Tours, he has helped build the company into a trusted name in specialist sports travel, with a reputation for quality, reliability and genuine expertise.

Outside work, Simon enjoys spending time with his family and Jiu Jitsui

Sales Manager

Ed has spent his career helping sports fans plan the trips they’ll talk about for years. His extensive experience of event travel — combined with an encyclopaedic knowledge of venues, hospitality options and on-the-ground logistics — means he’s ideally placed to guide you through the options and put together a package that’s right for you.

James Anglim
Operations & Product Manager

James oversees the end-to-end operational delivery of every Grand Tours package. With deep experience in the travel industry, he ensures that every booking — from first enquiry to final transfer — runs exactly as it should. His focus on detail, compliance and customer satisfaction underpins the seamless experience Grand Tours is known for.

Alicia Williams
Marketing Manager

Alicia leads marketing at Grand Tours, connecting sports fans with the experiences they’re looking for. With a background in digital marketing from LSE and a passion for both sport and travel, she brings energy and creativity to everything the brand does. A keen tennis player, Alicia is rarely happier than when she’s courtside — or planning her next trip abroad.

Daniel Glancy
Technical Manager

Daniel leads the technical side of Grand Tours, overseeing everything from the customer-facing website to the systems that keep operations running smoothly. His background in computer science and his enthusiasm for live sport gives him a clear understanding of what fans need from a modern sports travel platform.

Sales Associate

Luke brings over a decade of sales experience and a deep knowledge of sporting events worldwide to his role at Grand Tours. His enthusiasm for live sport — and his understanding of what makes a truly great trip — makes him a trusted guide for customers looking to get the most from their experience.

Mahia Alarcon
Sales Analyst

Mahia’s background spans international marketing, law and languages, and she brings that breadth of experience to her role supporting customers through the booking process and beyond. With experience across multiple sports and a genuinely global outlook, she ensures every guest’s journey — from enquiry to event day — is handled with care and expertise.

Jimmy Ryan
Operations Associate

Jimmy joined Grand Tours after starting his career in asset management, bringing analytical rigour and a sharp eye for detail to the operations team. His role is to ensure that every package is delivered to the highest standard — so that from the moment you book to the moment you return home, everything goes to plan.

Anna Rogers
Operations Analyst

Anna supports the operations team in keeping every Grand Tours trip running smoothly. Having studied abroad and travelled extensively, she brings an international perspective and a calm, methodical approach to the day-to-day work of making exceptional sporting travel happen.

Grand Tours is a fully insured tour operator that adheres to all legislation designed to protect the consumer. This includes the European Package Holiday Directive, Supplier Failure Cover, and Trust Accounts held by a third party. That means that whatever happens to us, you are protected.
